Rehoming because

Our wonderful guinea pig, Butterscotch, needs a new home. He was living with his brother, Oreo and was very happy. Sadly, Oreo died unexpectedly about two months ago. We cannot get a new pig for Butterscotch and also have a housing issue now that will prevent us from getting a new pig to keep him company. We are hoping to find him a good home as he is awfully lonely! Butterscotch is in excellent health and we got him from a reputable breeder. He will come with his enclosure, toys, fleece and hay/food if you adopt him.

2 year old male, long silky hair, adorable and super friendly! He loves to ride around in his pouch or sit on your shoulder. He is not aggressive and loved well with other pigs. He loves baths and getting his nails and hair trimmed. Cucumbers are his favorite food! Small adoption fee of $20. DO NOT CONTACT IF YOU PLAN TO USE FOR EXPERIMENTS OR FEED TO YOUR SNAKE.

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
