Rehoming because

I am rehoming my guinea pig because her sister, who she has been with ever since they were born, has recently past away. I can't get another guinea pig to keep her company, so rather her be by herself, I would like her to go to a good home with other guinea pigs.

This is Luna. Someone left a box of baby guinea pigs at Petco's door, so they posted them for adoption. I picked two females and I have had them ever since. She will be 5 years old in January.

Her personality:

  • She is very silly
  • If you arrange the cage one way, she will rearrange everything the way she likes it
  • She tries to eat everything she's not suppose to, so be careful with what you put in or around the cage
  • She's a little picky about her veggies
  • She really loves the hut I have for her, and I'm happy to send that with her, so she can still have it
  • She loves to be held and her back scratched

Her medical history:

  • She has had bumble foot once in the past
  • She has some sort of fatty tumor on left hide side

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
