I had adopted Ally to be a companion for my older docile piggy. Unfortunately they are not a good match, mainly due to Ally's being so high energy. My older piggy just wants to chill and Ally was constantly pestering her.
Ally is an energetic and friendly 2 year old female piggy. She is black on top with a tan underside She loves to eat, especially veggies and will eat from your hand. You need to be careful about overfeeding veggies as that can decrease her hay eating. Like most cavies, Ally does not like being picked up but once held, she enjoys being petted, especially if you offer her a treat. Ally does not bite. One of Ally's cutest traits is that sometimes when she wheeks, her ears flap in time to the wheeking.
Rehoming fee of $30. If you are a new piggy parent and need starter supplies, please let me know and I will see what I can help you with. I can also provide vet recommendation if you are in SF.
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
