This is Alex! He’s a male guinea pig that my mother adopted from a local PetSmart. My mother got him as a present for my little sister. And knowing my little sister, I knew she wouldn’t take care of it and get bored of it quickly, and she did. I have warned my mom before she got it but she didn’t listen sadly. I don’t mind keeping the guinea pig for myself and give the love it needs but my mom told me that she no longer wants it in the house because it is expensive. We can’t afford a bigger cage and can’t afford to buy a second companion for Alex so I decided that maybe it’s time to rehome him to a new, forever home that would give him the needs and care that me and my family couldn’t give him. I am not charging anything and just want the best for Alex. Alex is a bit shy and does not like being carried but maybe that is how he is just with me and would be best off if he had a friend with him. I am giving away a big bag of bedding my friend brought for me when I didn’t had the money for it plus his normal sized cage (the ones PetSmart have) with his water bottle and his bowl and a food bag.
If you are interested in Alex, please contact me immediately. It would be great if you have experiences with guinea pigs or looking for a second friend for your guinea pig :) and also it would he helpful if you know Spanish but if not it’s okay. Thank you very much.
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
