Our Story

Franklin is a silly, hungry boi. He is about 3 Ib and loves food. My female guinea pig, Mellow, doesn’t eat the stems of lettuce so I give them to Franklin. Franklin was loved by my friends and family as he tried to nibble at their fingers thinking they were a large carrot. I don’t know his birthday but he is about 1 year and 1 month old. He seems like the type of guinea to hoard all the food but I hope he is able to make new friends at his new home!

I would want to give Franklin away for $65 including his 4x2 ft pre-built acrylic cage with the safety net. There are provided images of the cage.

Rehoming because

I am a college student who became a guinea pig parent recently, however before getting my guinea pigs I was told that they couldn’t be the same gender so I got one boy and one girl. I later was told that the males can impregnate the females. Unfortunately, I can’t keep Franklin for the sake of avoiding a premature pregnancy of my few month old female.

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
