Our Story

I started out rescuing 3 abandoned guinea pigs from a rescue. One didn't get along with the other two, and I set out to find them a friend. I not only got the sex wrong (this was not a guinea pig rescue. They were left there), but the female I got was already pregnant. Cute little babies, but in my attempt to keep them with mom for as long as they should be, she ended up pregnant again. I need to stop this cycle. I want to find them loving furever homes.

Rehoming because

It all statrted with getting a friend for my guinea pig. Turned out she was a pregnant female. Then, trying to keep the babies with her the time they were supposed to be, along with being really lousy at sexing them, I now have more. I cannot keep them all. I'm also allergic to hay, which for a couple piggies is do-able. I also don't have the space needed, and being disabled, it is too much. I want to spend time with them, and it isn't fair to them that I can't.

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
