Rocky and Cece (yes, named for the Disney show characters) have been with us for just over a year, purchased from the local pet store. Both are female and purchased together so they're well bonded. Rocky is calico and looks like an Abyssinian with the whacky fur. She's the more laid-back and submissive of the pair. Cece is also calico and looks like a Teddy, with the shorter fur. Cece is definitely the dominant one. Our two children were extremely attentive of the guinea pigs at first but have gotten busy with school and extra-curricular activities and aren't as good about paying attention to them. Throw in the fact we're scheduled to move cross-country next year, we've decided it's best if Cece and Rocky find a new home with a loving family who can show them the attention and love they deserve. We have three large wire cages which can be used separately or connected together, several washable fleece liners for the cages, water bottles, a wooden hay feeder, toys, food dishes, etc. which will come with the piggies. And of course whatever food and hay we have on hand goes too. We're asking for a $75 re-homing fee, which includes all the extras. We're willing to travel a reasonable distance to meet prospective families who are serious about adopting.
Thank you for considering giving these lovely pets a new home!
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
