Rehoming because

My children and I are becoming more and more sensitive/allergic to the pigs/their bedding. We've had them for nearly a year and the itchy skin, eczema flares, and hives are only getting worse. My middle son had his worst spring allergy/asthma season ever and had to go on oral steroids to get them under control. We are dealing with chronic sore throats and itchy eyes. We have taken excellent care of them and want to make sure they go to the right home. We will continue to care for them until that time.

Moo Moo is a black and white, short haired, male guinea pig who was born on Christmas day. He is vocal and playful, though he can be timid when you go to pick him up. He is still quite active and will popcorn and kick up his litter like confetti. He LOVES grapes and carrots. If you have a treat for him he will most definitely come up to you and allow you to scratch his nose. He is a very sweet and loving piggy.

We have had Ginny since September 2017 and she was approximately 1-2months old. She is mostly black with a small brown patch on her eye and a bit of white.  She is more confident than Moo Moo and definitely thinks she is the queen. She likes to be scratched on the snout and just behind her ears, but no where else. She is very talkative and will rumble strut if she is irritated with you LOL. She is very smart and predominantly eliminates in the same two corners so that her habitat stays relatively clean!

They have been kept as individuals in their own C&C enclosures that I built for them. They come with their habitats, food dishes, water bottles and any supplies we may have for them at the time of adoption.

We are adopting them out as individuals, not a pair. Neither pig has ever been bred. They have both been very sweet and gentle pets and if not for the increasing sensitivity to them, we would be keeping them. Having hives on the insides of my eyelids is not acceptable, no matter how sweet the pet.

Thank you for considering our piggies for adoption. Please call, text or email for more information. While we would love to rehome them ASAP due to the physical health issues, we care for them and want to make sure it is going to be the right fit for everyone. It will be hard to let them go.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found.
