Bonded trio

Rehoming because

The girls were a gift for my daughter, but my husband is having a terrible time with his asthma, which we didn't think would be an issue because we had a dog before, but apparently their shedding and the bedding is more than the air purifier we put in the room with them can handle. We have had them for 2 and a half years and my husband just can't handle it anymore. Our only other alternative would be to try putting them in a room in our basement, but that is not the quality of life we want for them.

The 3 female guinea pigs are approximately 2.5 years old.  Two are tri-color Abyssinians with the crazy cowlicks and the other is an almost completely white short hair with a tan bottom--thus the name Sandy Cheeks.   They live in a large 4.5 x 2+ foot custom C&C cage with loft and lots of accessories.  We have tried to rehome them locally with no success--although plenty of folks want to buy the cage!  We DO NOT want to take them to a pet store where they will be put back into a small glass "cage" awaiting adoption and most likely be separated.  They are very sweet and love to talk to us and eat out of our hands. The person who takes them will get the cage with 2 sets of fleece flippers, a "kitchen area" with flip-up lid, a collapsible play pen with removable cover, and lots of accessories including hideys, extra bowls & bottles, various hay racks/dispenser bags, etc.  We also have a nice starter kit cage that we used briefly before realizing that piggies need a lot more space.  All together we have more than $500 invested in their home from the Guinea Pig Cages Store.

Do you have room for Mo ("Mohawk"), Sandy Cheeks and Olivia?  I can provide any further information you would like.  Thank you for your consideration.

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
