Rehoming because

As my children enter their teen years, it dawns on me that we have become too busy to give these sweet piggies the time and attention they deserve. Piggies are almost 2 years old.

Three little piggies crying for a home!!

Meet my bonded trio Image and video hosting by TinyPic My bonded trio Toffee, (pictured above), Jedi and Cookie

  • Cookie is the lead and the smallest of this herd. She is vocal and gets very excited when its time for her breakfast and dinner.
  • Jedi is the most easy going and loves to pet.
  • Toffee is the most skittish. We joke she suffers from PTSD from her early days at a petshop. The pet shop allowed anyone to pet her and she never really recovered from reaching hands. She loves to run into her pouch and get her cuddles that way.

These piggies enjoy a salad breakfast of carrots, romaine lettuce, and strawberry tops every morning. During the day they spend their time grooming, napping, and romping in their cage. At supper time, they enjoy a robust amount of hay to chew, fling, burrow, and play in until they decide to hit the hay! They live next to a hedgehog and are used to a presence of a dog so are pretty used to noises. They enjoy weekly or twice weekly cage clean outs. We alternate between using disposable bedding and the fleece liners.

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
