Bonded pair

Rehoming because

My dog has become very aggressive to the guinea pigs, and we are forced to keep them in the basement. I do not like keeping them down there away from everyone, but there is no other place to keep them where my dog can't access. I am moving soon to a smaller apartment and ill have no options on where to keep them safe. I know that the guinea pigs feel very scared when the dog is near them as well.

Two female guinea pigs about 1.5 years old. One long haired and one short haired. They are bonded together, but they are not from the same litter. They are easy to hold, but do not like the act of being picked up, however they do enjoy floor time, and I have a play area that I can provide. They do need a bit of re-socialization, they have been a bit more skittish since they had to move to the basement, but still very good outside of the cage. The cage I have is broken, being held with zip ties, so you will need a cage (a c&c diy cage or a midwest guinea pig habitat (buy on amazon) are both affordable and humane) but I can provide 2 pigloos, 2 water bottles, 2 food bowls, a wooden tunnel, whatever food/hay/bedding I have left as well as the play area, and a nail clippers. They have a lot of personality, especially the short hair, and they are still young, so they have a lot of fun years ahead of them.

Asking $40 rehoming everything but cage included.

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
