Frida and Diego are a bonded, male-female pair. Diego is neutered. They are both about 1.5 years old. They are quite sweet. They are very food motivated and will snuggle up on you once they feel secure. They have grown accustomed to routine nail clippings, and so long as you have lettuce in hand, they will cooperate. They have their own instagram. If you were so interested in maintaining it (which would be awesome because I could still see their cute little faces), I would turn over the login information to you. You can see them @frida.n.diego on IG.
I'm asking a $50 adoption fee; I want to know they are going to a family who will care for them. They had their wellness checks at 3 months old and their annual wellness exams on 6/26/18. They would be coming with a MidWest cage (LxWxH: 47x24x14; $60 value), a wooden table stand for the cage (same LxW dimensions; $50 value), water bottle, wooden hutch, hay dispenser x2, food bowls, fleece cage liners x4, beds x2, a couple of snuggle sacks, cage canopy x2, and collapsable outdoor run (available by 7/4/18 as was left behind in our move and it being shipped). I would also give a starter amount of food and hay. The value of these supplies is over $500.
If you are interested in adoption, I want to learn a little more about your household to ensure you are a good fit. Please send me an email including the following:
Have you every owned guinea pigs before? Will you be housing them indoors? Do you have other pets or children? Temperament/ages?
My intention is to ensure that your home is a good fit for Frida and Diego and that they are a good fit for you. I have truly loved my time with them and am heartbroken to have to part with them. I moved into a 1:1 apartment for my doctoral internship, so residential options were limited given the low stipend for interns. I was unable to find a home where they could join me.
Please contact me if you are interested. I am happy to answer all questions you may have.
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
