Rehoming because

We recently adopted this adorable pair of 3 year old female guinea pigs (Coco and Luna) to be a companion to our 5 year old guinea pig because her sister just died. Unfortunately the new bonded pair is not getting along with our older guinea pig and we've had to keep them in separate (large) cages. The amount of hay and fur has caused really bad allergies and asthma for my 7 year old so, sadly, we need to find the bonded pair a new loving home.

Coco and Luna are 3 years old and we adopted them a little over a month ago.  They live in a C&C cage (2 x 4). One is a bit more shy than the other but they both love to sit with you and to be pet. They also love when you come in to feed them fresh lettuce, carrots, and bell peppers.  They will run to the edge of the cage and start wheeking excitedly. They are adorable!  These guinea pigs have been very good around our kids. They are just not getting along with our older guinea pig when we try to cage them together.  For this reason they should probably be adopted to a home that doesn't have other guinea pigs or that can handle having these ones in a separate cage.  They need to be adopted together.  We can send with cage, fleece, hidey houses, water bottle, food bowl, food, and hay to get you started if you don't already have this.

Adoptive fee $45

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
