Rehoming because

I NEED to rehouse this guinea pigs babies because I cannot afford or have time to deal with having too many guinea pigs. I want them to go to good homes with, parents/children who are RESPONSIBLE enough to take care of them. This particular sow has been through AT LEAST 3 different homes BEFORE me! I’ve seen her living in horrible conditions (which I rescued her from) my point is I don’t want her or her babies ending up in a home where the child promises the parent “I’ll take care of it! I promise!” Chances are your child is going to get bored of the animal quickly, and even if they don’t get bored of it. Who’s gonna feed it? Who’s going to pay for it? What if it gets sick and needs to see a vet? Who’s going to clean the cage? These are things you need to consider, if you (a parent) are considering buying a Guinea pig just for the sake of a pet to please your 5 year old reconsider this listing. All I’m saying is if you decide to buy a animal for your child, be prepared that you might be the one who ends up fully responsible for it. (If you know you are responsible enough please disregard this rant)

Our Story

Hi! This is my pregnant skinny pig, I don’t know how many babies she is going to have but is ready to pop any moment. Of course, because of the nursing period it will be a few weeks before I let the babies get adopted. Furthermore a skinny pig is the rarest breed of guinea pig there is, making the babies a bit pricier than your average american short hair guinea pig. The mother might also be up for grabs, I’m not sure yet as I am attached to her. PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE. Also depending on where you live we can discuss transportation upon recieving guinea pig(s).

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
