Pan (Chocolate-Red Agouti) and Moose (White and Buff Marked American Crested) are a pair of 15 month old piggies!
Both have been handled, groomed, and hand fed, with no health or behavioral problems to date. They should both be adopted out together, as they are a bonded pair.
Pan and Moose are safe to hand feed, their favorite snacks are apples, lettuce, and the "leafy" strands of hay. When you walk by their cage, they both come to see you. They have been trained (and are still working on) to come to the door when called, since they associate this with a hand-feeding session. As for handling, they are a bit squirmy when you catch them, but tend to relax once held and handled properly out of the cage. Both have experience with being bathed, brushed, and have had their nails cut. They also show no fear of the cats and dogs that also live with us (even when lunged at)!
Moose: The social butterfly. He is a very snack-oriented pig, very curious too. Once you pick him up, he's very laid back, not as vocal as his pen-mate, Pan. He may nibble or lick occasionally, but has never bitten. He tends to be more "snuggly" than Pan, but does enjoy to roam and explore in a safe area.
Pan: Shyer than Moose, but generally easy-going. He also is snack-oriented. He can be a bit more active when held on a lap than Moose- he likes to explore. He takes well to hand feeding and has never nibbled or bitten fingers, maybe licked a few times but that's it lol. He can also be vocal when separated from Moose, but not annoyingly so. It's actually rather cute!
Adoption Fee: $100, includes supplies (cage, food, hay, bedding, hide-away, bowls, bottles).
Were pending adoption, however the pending adopters were unable to take them.

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
