Rehoming because

We're moving 400 miles away at the end of February/ beginning of March. New baby on the way, and they were unfortunately beginning to be neglected when we had our first child a year ago. We're moving to a smaller apartment where we no longer have the space, and doesn't allow them. They need a family who will give them the attention they deserve.

Our Story

We got these pigs as babies January 2014. Which makes them a little over 4-years-old.

They've always be well taken care of, they're just not getting the attention they deserve anymore.

They're both female, have never had babies, and have always been homed together.

Sapphire is the darker colored one and Ivy is the mostly white.

Sapphire is the domanant of the pair, but by no means aggressive.

They're both sweet piggies and I've never once had an issue with them.

Sapphire likes to nibble, but she will not bite. Ivy loves to lick you, and again, has never bitten.

They love their hay, and oxbow pellets.

They love all kinds of veggies and fruits. Green peppers and romaine lettuce are their favorite!

Fee for adoption is $60, will include:

  • Sapphire & Ivy.
  • They'll come with their 'All Living Things' soft bottom cage (missing the seperator part because they were too big for it). We usually leave the top off of it for easier access to them, but we still have it. They started out in a C&C cage and are accustomed to fleece, if you'd like to go back to it. They did well, but we've since changed them to a cage with paper bedding, and they don't have any issues with either types of bedding.
  • Super Pet green igloo.
  • 2 -32oz National Geographic Glass water bottles.
  • Red pellet gravity feeder.
  • What's left of their Kaytee paper bedding.
  • What's left of their Oxbow pellet food.
  • What's left of their Oxbow Timothy Hay.

We're obviously looking to home with a responsible pet owner, who has experience with guinea pigs.

But we are in a short time frame, so please help us find these cuties a new fur-ever home!

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
