Russell is an adorable brown and white Abyssinian, who is around or over two years old. His last name of Knox is more of a reference or joke than it is official.
He is very kind, and mostly quiet. He will put up with being handled, and will usually (but not always) stay near his owner when allowed to roam inside.
Despite this, he does not like being picked up or stoked, despite how tame he is being held and when around people (he's odd, but I love him).
I have introduced him to three other guinea pigs, and he got along pretty well with them. He is rather social, as far as I can tell, though I haven't had him with others for more than a few minutes.
Russell was bought from a person at my school who told me that she was giving him to her dad's friend to be eaten. Could have been scamming me out of fifty bucks, but it was clear enough that he was not loved in that house.
I love him, and I want what is best for him, which is to be rehomed somewhere better than the horrible place I have for him.
If anyone is interested, they must frequently update me on how he is doing, and his care.
He has an adoption fee, and needs a good home who will treat him like family.
If he cannot be properly taken care of, I will take him back.
If anyone is interested, they must text or email me, as I am rarely able to pick up the phone.
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
