Piggy Info

Rehoming because

My sister decided to adopt a guinea pig. She was instantly obsessed and practically threw a temper tantrum until my mom would let her buy one. However, she immediately realized that owning a pet requires responsibility, which is what my mom told her. I ended up having to care for the guinea pig. I never wanted him in the first place but he was cute so I originally accepted the responsibility. However, I quickly lost motivation and no longer want to clean the cage so much. My sister refuses to take over and my mom doesn't care enough to help my case. I'm still struggling to take care of him without any motivation too, which led me here. Therefore, I apologize on behalf of my family and I hope Franklin (our guinea pig) will find a nice home!

Our Story

Franklin is a very handsome guinea pig. He has luscious black, brown, and white hair. Some of the employees at the pet store called him Trump, not because his hair was the same but just because his hair is a bit wacky on top. He has never had professional grooming and he is afraid of water when I try to clean him but I think that is natural. His hair tends to grow down the back of his booty and can get messy. He tends to eat a lot and will chew the cage if barred. He sleeps quite a bit but is always ready for attention. Franklin has always been great, just cleaning his cage often was my problem. He has never clawed or bit me on purpose but he has to my sister. I'm no expert at raising guinea pigs so I might have been making things harder than they needed to be on myself of Franklin. I just want him to be happy!

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
