Rehoming because

I had rescued an older piggy about 2 years ago that was a meany. She eventually mellowed out and I started putting stuffed animals close to her cage, then slowly moved it in. She finally befriended to stuffed guinea pig and would carry it with her anywhere she went. So I got Squirt, to be her friend. They chattered the entire time squirt was in quarantine in a different room and as soon as I put them together they were best friends. I had no clue the age of the first one but just a few months after getting Squirt my first pig passed. Squirt still calls for her no matter how much attention I give to her. I have been unable to find a single young female or neutered male so I would rather her have a friend and happy then here and sad. She is still quite shy but once you have her up she is a love bug.

Our Story

Squirt is a young female mostly black with some gold on her.  She is a sweety and once you bait her to you and have her she is a snuggle bug.  She is still a little shy but is a chatter box and will have a conversation with you as long as you will talk to her with her squeeks and chirps.  Otherwise she is pretty quiet.  She does pretty well keeping her cage clean. Much better than my last one.  She doesn't pee & poop in the hay like alot of piggies I think because she loves to burrow in it.  I have had her on high quality foods and whatever I have at the time you will be welcome to.  She is currently in a XL living world cage that I am will to sell if you need it. But I do want her with a pig friend.  I will also continue looking for her a partner for now.

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
