Rehoming because

“Piggy” is his name. He is a super cute guinea pig that needs a good loving home. He was handed to us by a neighbor who admitted he couldn’t take care of him. He was small, thin, and would barely move. He wasn’t sick, he was just neglected and the owner at least recognized it. Anyway, We couldn’t say no!

After showing him love, he’s a big guinea pig now, loves to move and jump around, he’s big, healthy, and chubby like he should be! :)

I would keep him but I never planned for pets, I just started a traveling nurse job, and so would prefer him to go to a loving home. I don’t want him to be neglected again! ? Please Don’t judge me, anybody with a heart would have taken him in, in the condition he was in. It wasn’t my choice to buy/get him and then just sell him. I want him to go to a home where he’s wanted and loved for the short years they live. I worry because I do not want him to go to a bad home.

Our Story

Where do I start with Piggy!!!! Hes Black/tan colored and super cute! He’s super sweet and needs a loving home...

Please, You must be a good responsible pet owner that knows about guinea pigs or willing to learn about them. The cage pictured was on sale at petsmart and cost me $120. Everything from the Guinean pig, the cage, the food, bedding I have, bottles, etc is included in the $100 charge.

You would have to clean his cage weekly. I feed him in the mornings and put more hay down at night. Check his water daily. He squeals in excitement when he warms up to you and when he hears you coming into the room. From what I’ve read and did do, His cage should be placed in a room where noises are heard and people are. (I had him off on one side of my living room). They are social and can get depression if they are not hearing things and not getting any attention. I feed him half a carrot every night and he squeals in excitement the minute he hears a bag or chopping sound :)

He’s super sweet, I take him out almost daily and cuddle him or let him walk on the floor. He doesn’t run away. Some piggies run around but this piggy prefers to cuddle in a blanket.

If you’re interested or know of someone who would love and take care of him, please let me know!!!!
