Our Story

Max and his son Teddy are two of the cutest, most handsome guineas we've seen!  They have a double decker cage set up (which will travel with them to their new home) and they love to run up and down the ramp.  They are very vocal and love to hear the refridgerator door open, hoping for more veggies!  We purchased Max from a local petstore with Frisbee, another guinea who was sexed as a boy.  The pet store was wrong.  Frisbee was a great mother, but we lost 2 of her 3 babies and Frisbee also from birth complications.  We worked very close with the Texas Rustlers Guinea Pig Rescue through the whole proces.  It was heartbreaking, but we ended up with Max and his strong figher of a son Teddy.  We learned the value of adopting rather than purchasing!

Max is about 2 years old and Teddy is 1.  Max is harder to pick up initially, but the biggest cuddler.  Teddy has long hair that hangs over his back just like his mom!  They get along very well and make wonderful pets!

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
