Penn - gentleman seeks loving family
Rehoming becausePenn is in foster care.
Penn is a very nice gentleman like male. He is very sweet. We clipped his very long nails without any trouble from him at all. He is super friendly. He is easily held. He is mellow and laid back. He really loves carrots and apples.
Penn is a young (approx 5-6 months old) male American short haired guinea pig. He was originally housed with a more agressive guinea pig in an innapropriate cage. The family they were with did not understand their needs and turned them over to our rescue. After giving both guinea pigs time to settle down in more appropriate individual cages, we found a less agressive guinea pig (Reddy) for Penn to move in with. Penn and Reddy have become close friends, and will need to be adopted together.
Their adoption will include a brand new Midwest cage. This cage is 48" x 24". This is the minimum size cage for a pair of guinea pigs. Please be sure you have enough space.
Adoption fee is negotiable
Can you SHIP?
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
