Bitty and Buddy need attentive owners

Rehoming becauseWe cannot keep up with the amount of care they need to maintain their health.
Bitty and Buddy are two short hair piggies I got from a pet store about a year ago.
Bitty gets her name from looking like a rabbit, I think her color looks more like a squirrel though. She is a very sweet girl, loves to burrow, very adventurous and loves to give kisses and cuddle. When I bring her out she will kick her feet out and fall asleep. Her favorite food is tomatoes and she is the loudest pig when you make bag crinkling noises.
Buddy is the more shy girl. She's black and white colored and has been slowly getting more comfortable with humans throughout the year, since we've made a point to interact with them a couple times every day. She's not so much a cuddler, but she will sit with you and explore the area. She tends to favor carrots and can often be found run in circles like a crazy piggie.
These babies need a lot of love. Since I brought them home, they have had three cases of respiratory infections. I've taken then to the vet each time and they respond really well to the treatment. The vet told us that it is really important for is to weigh them every week and change their blankets every day. This sort of maintenance is just something we can't keep up with.
If you would like these lovely girls, we have many supplies available for you to take as well. Two Midwest cages with lids and dividers, two hay holders, one small and one large water bottle, two medium and one large plastic house, fleece blankets galore, one absorbent cage liner I bought off etsy, one of those hanging bed things for ferrets that the girls use to hide under, bulk bag of pellets, large bag of hay.
Can you SHIP?
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
