Pearl and Rose need a loving home
Rehoming becauseI am not able to keep up with the maintenance of care and cleaning.
I would like to find a home for my girls, Pearl and Rose.
Pearl is a black, short hair pig with a white stripe around her belly and white on her feet. She is the dominant in the pair, and is a little chubby.
Rose is mostly white with patches of reddish brown and black on her rosette-covered body. She is shy and submissive, but it usually loud about her food and spunky.
I bought these girls from a family who got them for their kids that ended up, I suspect, either being too rough with them or didn't pick them up at all.
I've been working with them for a year on being handled. Pearl likes to cuddle, but doesn't like the process of being picked up. Rose can get scared and will run away if you move too quickly, but I found that if you move slow and pet her a bit first, she will let you pick her up.
They need a family who has time to hold them every day to keep them getting better with handling, but other than that, they would be great for anyone.
Please contact me if you would like to adopt or have more information. My adoption fee is $200 and includes a Midwest cage, fleece blankets, hay feeder, water bottle, pellet bowl, and a bag of hay and pellets. If you do not want some or any of the supplies, we can negotiate price.
Can you SHIP?
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
